Ingredients

  • 200 g - refined flour/maida
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g - powdered Sugar
  • 200 g - Butter
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp - cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 2tbsp - broken Cashew nuts or Walnuts

How to Make Simple Chocolate Brownies

  • Beat the butter, sugar, eggs, salt, cocoa powder and vanilla essence together till creamy.
  • Add the flour and mix well.
  • If the mixture is too thick, add a little milk.
  • Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured cake tin, and sprinkle the broken cashewnuts or walnuts on the top.
  • Bake for 30-40 mins in a moderate oven.
  • The top should be brown and crisp.
