  • Yellow moong dal - 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Onion - 1 no
  • Tomatoes - 2
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Garlic cloves - 5
  • Beans - 1cup
  • Carrot -1 cup
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
  • Curry leaves

How to Make Simple dal

  • Cook dal with turmeric.
  • To the dal, add a cup of water and all the cut vegetables and the other ingredients, and cook for about 10 mins.
  • Add salt, garnish with coriander and curry leaves.
