Ingredients

  • White mushroom - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Chopped ginger
  • Cumin seeds
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric a pinch
  • Chopped green chillies - 3 to 4
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Garam masala powder
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Simple Fried Mushroom

  • Clean and cut mushroom into small pieces and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add cumin seeds. When it splutters add onion and fry until it turns light brown.
  • Add ginger, green chillies, coriander powder, turmeric powder and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add tomatoes, red chilli powder and cook for 5 minutes
  • Add mushrooms. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Add garam masala powder. Open the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from fire and garnish with coriander leaves.
