  • 4 - whole cloves garlic, peeled and cleaned (don't cut)
  • 20 - Madras onions (don't cut)
  • 3-4 small - onions (chopped)
  • 2 small - tomato
  • 4 tsp - coriander powder
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric power
  • 1 - small lemon size tamarind ball
  • medium size - coconut
  • 6 tsp - oil
  • curry leaves
  • salt to taste

How to Make Simple Garlic curry

  • Keep a frying pan on the stove. Put oil for heating, then add garlic, salt, onion and sallow fry them till light brown.
  • Now add tomato, curry leaf and let it get cooked.
  • Add coriander, chilli, turmeric all together and mix it well.
  • Fry till the aroma comes.
  • Now add tamarind water and let it boil, then slow heat for 6-7 min.
  • Now add coconut and let the curry have one boil.
  • Serve hot with anything like rice, chapattis, puris, etc.
