  • 400 g - peas(shelled)
  • 300 g - cottage cheese
  • 2 small bunches spinach
  • 2 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 4 - boiled potatoes
  • 4 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp - dry mango powder
  • 10 tbsp - arrowroot powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  • a handful - coriander leaves(finely chopped)
  • a pinch - soda
  • salt to taste
  • oil for deep frying

How to Make Simple Hara Bhara Kababs

  • Boil the peas, potatoes and mash them while still hot.
  • Clean and wash the spinach.
  • Boil the spinach (without any water) with a pinch of soda.
  • Squeeze out the water completely from the spinach and grind it coarsely.
  • Crumble the cottage cheese.
  • Mix all the ingredients together and make dough.
  • Make small flat patties and deep fry in hot oil.
  • Serve with cucumber, onion slices and a bowl of mint dip.
