Ingredients

  • 5 - leftover idlis
  • Besan as required
  • 1/2 cup - grated carrot
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 2 tbsp - grated cabbage
  • salt as required
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Simple Idli Pakora

  • Take besan, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, vegetables and add water to make a batter.
  • Cut idlis into long strips. Heat oil and dip each idli strip into the batter and fry them till they are golden brown.
  • Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato sauce.
