Ingredients

  • Tomato - 1/2 kg
  • Paneer - 250 g
  • Onion, chopped - 1
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Chilli powder - 4 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder -3 tbsps
  • Methi powder - 1.5 tsps
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar - 2 tsps

How to Make Simple Kadai Paneer

  • Boil tomato and grind it in a blender.
  • Slice onions into rounds.
  • Cube the paneer.
  • Heat butter in a pan add the onions and fry well.
  • Add the tomato paste and saute.
  • Add the remaining ingredients, except paneer, and cook for some time.
  • Finally, add the paneer and cook till done.
  • Serve hot with parathas.
