  • Chana dal - 1 cup
  • Green chilli- 3 to 4
  • Ginger
  • Grated coconut - 3 tsp
  • Salt
  • Lemon juice - 3 tsp
  • Oil for seasoning
  • Coriander for garnishing

How to Make Simple Kosambari

  • Soak chana dal for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Grind it into a rough paste along with green chilli and ginger.
  • Add salt, lemon juice and coconut to it.
  • Heat oil in a pan and roast mustard seeds and jeera.
  • Pour over dal mixture.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
