How to Make Simple Mango Rice

  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Add mustard seeds and urad dal.
  • When dal becomes brown, add curry leaves and asafoetida.
  • Add the raw mango, and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the paste and saute for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from gas.
  • Mix cooled rice with it properly.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot.
