  • 8-10 medium Tomatoes
  • 2 Potatoes (boiled and mashed)
  • 1/2 cup - mixed boiled vegetables (carrot, beans, peas), chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp each of chilli powder, Turmeric and coriander powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp each of Jeera and Mustard Seeds
  • 2 dry Red Chillies dry (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp - grated cheese
  • chopped coriander
  • How to Make Simple n Easy Stuffed Tomatoes:

    1. Cut off the top of the tomato and scoop out the seeds. Chop the cut tops finely.
    2. Heat oil in a kadai, add jeera and mustard seeds. When they pop, add the chopped tomatoes and fry for a minute. Add all the dry masalas and fry for another minute.
    3. Add the potatoes and vegetables. Mix well and cook for a minute.
    4. Stuff the tomatoes with the filling.
    5. Top with grated cheese and coriander.
    6. Place tomatoes in a cooker container. Dot with butter. Pressure cook for one whistle.
