Ingredients

  • 5 to 6 thin slices - pineapple.
  • 2 to 3 - green chillies.
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder.
  • 2 tbsp - rasam Powder.
  • Coriander leaves- as desired.
  • 1/2 - lemon.
  • Salt, to taste.
  • Tur dal (only if desired).

How to Make Simple Pineapple Rasam

  • Take two glasses of water and add rasam powder. Cut green chillies and add it to the above. Bring it to a boil.
  • Add pineapple, cumin powder and salt and a glass of water to the above, and allow it to boil for sometime.
  • Optional: Add 2 spoons of cooked tuvar dal when it boils.
  • Add coriander leaves before putting the gas off. After allowing it to cool for five minutes, add lemon and mix.
  • Serve with rice.
