  • 4 - Potatoes.
  • 1 cup - Thinly sliced onion.
  • 1 cup - Boiled peas.
  • 4 - green chillies.
  • 1 cup - Gram flour.
  • 1 cup - Rice flour.
  • Asafoetida- 1/4 tsp.
  • Salt to taste.
  • oil to fry.
  • How to Make Simple Potato Bonda:

    1. Boil the potatoes, peel the skin and mash them.
    2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai and saute the onions until pink.
    3. Add the green chillies, potato and peas and cook for 5 mins.
    4. Make small balls of the potato mixture.
    5. Make a thick paste of the gram flour, rice flour, asafoetida and salt.
    6. Dip the potato balls in the batter and deep fry in oil.
    7. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
