  • 300 grams - cleaned and deveined prawns.
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 6 tbsp - flour or maida.
  • 1 tsp - Corn flour.
  • oil for Deep frying.
  • How to Make Simple Prawn Fritters:

    1. Boil the prawns in some water for about 10 mins.
    2. Drain away the water.
    3. Make a batter with the flour, salt, pepper, corn flour and 1/2 cup of water.
    4. Mix the prawns in the batter.
    5. Heat oil in a suitable frying pan.
    6. Drop in the coated prawns one at a time in the hot oil (as many as the pan can hold) and fry till brown and crisp.
    7. Add a little more flour if the batter is too thin.
    8. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
