Ingredients

  • Prawns - 250 g
  • Chilli powder - 3/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • 1 - big Onion finely chopped
  • 1 inch - Ginger finely chopped
  • 2 to 4 Cloves - Garlic finely chopped
  • 3 to 4 - Cloves
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato sauce/Tomato puree - 1 tbsp
  • Capsicum - 1 cut into small square pieces
  • 4 tbsps - Vinegar
  • Oil for cooking
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Simple Prawn Fry:

    1. Heat oil, fry onion and capsicum together until the onion turns brownish.
    2. Add ginger and garlic, saute it properly.
    3. Put chilli, turmeric and coriander powder, mix it well.
    4. Now add prawns and salt. Stir and cook.
    5. Meanwhile add tomato sauce/puree and vinegar. Stir well and cook until prawns are done.
