  • 10-20 - Gooseberry
  • 15-16 - Green chillies
  • Salt
  • Turmeric - a pinch
  • How to Make Simple Salted Gooseberry Pickle:

    1. Clean the gooseberries.
    2. Boil water in a vessel, with a pinch of turmeric added to it.
    3. Once the water starts to boil, add the gooseberries to it, and allow to boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from flame.
    4. After the gooseberries cool, transfer the gooseberries to a glass bottle, and fill the bottle with the same water in which the gooseberries were cooked.
    5. Slit the green chillies and add, along with some salt.
    6. Keep the bottle in room temperature for 1 day. Then store the pickle in the refrigerator.
