  • 1 cup besan (Bengal gram flour)
  • 1 cup milk (previously boiled)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1 cup grated coconut

How to Make Six Cups

  • Place a heavy-bottom pan on a stove top.
  • First, put ghee in it. After a minute, add milk and sugar.
  • Wait for one more minute and put besan and coconut powder.
  • Keep stirring the mixture on a medium flame until you get a thick consistency like you would for a mithai.
  • Put off the fire and immediately pour the mixture into a greased plate (greased with a spoon of ghee).
  • Cut them to squarish or diamond shapes. Let them cool.
  • Garnish with dry fruits (optional). Your seven cups dish is ready.
