Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - Spinach leaves, thoroughly washed
  • Channa dal - 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal - 1tbps
  • Tamarind juice, paste (According to taste)
  • Salt
  • Red Chillies (According to your level of tolerance)
  • Coconut (Optional)

How to Make Sizzling Spinach Chutney

  • Boil the spinach and drain the excess water. Don't throw away excess of water you can use it while grinding.
  • Roast the channa dal, urad dal, red chillies with or without oil. Allow it to cool.
  • Now in the grinder, add this roasted mixture, boiled spinach, coconut, tamarind paste and salt. As for adding the water while grinding is concerned, you can use the drained water.
  • Serve with rice or chapattis.
