  • 2 cups - Shredded spinach
  • 2 tbsp - Grated bottle gourd or white pumpkin
  • 1 tsp - Fresh cream (optional)
  • salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 small blob - Butter
  • 2 tbsp - Milk
  • 2 cups - Chicken stock.

How to Make Sizzling Spinach Soup

  • Wash the spinach well and put it in a large vessel.
  • Add 1/4 tsp salt and add the gourd to it.
  • Cover with a lid and boil on high until soft.
  • Take off the fire and put it in a colander.
  • Pour some cold water over it.
  • Now blend it in a mixie until smooth.
  • Take a deep pan and add water.
  • Add all the blended ingredients except the cream to it.
  • Let it boil.
  • Beat the cream for the garnishing.
  • Serve with warm garlic rolls or soup sticks.
