  • 10- Eggplant (small)
  • 50 gs-dhaniya
  • 50 gs-chana dal
  • little -asafoetida
  • 8-10- full Red Chillies
  • 1/2 cup- oil
  • 1/4 tsp - Tamarind pulp mixed in some water
  • salt
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds.
  • How to Make Sizzling Stuffed Eggplant:

    1. Fry dhania, red chillies, channa dal and asafoetida in a pan with little oil.
    2. Then grind it to a dry paste without adding water. And then add salt.
    3. Slice each eggplant with 4 cuts and the tops intact.
    4. Stuff the eggplant with dry paste.
    5. Put oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Wait till they splutter.
    6. Then add the stuffed eggplants and over them add the tamarind liquid.
    7. Cover it with a lid and fry them at medium heat.
    8. Attend the pan every 5-7 mins and add oil if necessary.
    9. After 15-20 mins, eggplants will be cooked.
    10. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
