Ingredients

  • 1 kg - boneless, skinless Chicken breast
  • Tandoori marinade:
  • 1 - onion, chopped coarsely
  • 2 - Garlic cloves, chopped fine
  • 2 tbsp - Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp - ground coriander
  • 2 tsp - paprika
  • 1 tsp - ground Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli pepper, powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp - ground Cloves
  • 2 cups - plain non-fat yogurt
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

How to Make Sizzling Tandoori Style Chicken

  • In a food processor, puree the onion and garlic.
  • Add lemon, lime juice, spices, yogurt and process to blend.
  • Marinate the chicken breasts in this mixture overnight, turning occasionally, in the refrigerator.
  • Prepare a charcoal or wood fire and let it burn down to the embers.
  • Remove the excess marinade and grill for 5 mins on each side or until done.
  • Serve with yogurt cilantro sauce to taste.
