Ingredients

  • Potato - 1/2 kg (boiled and peeled)
  • Beef - 1/2 kg
  • 1 - large Onion finely sliced
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • 4 - Big tomatoes
  • A few curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger garlic paste
  • Chilli powder - 1tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 1.5 tbsp
  • Grated coconut - 1 cup
  • 1.5 cup - water

How to Make Sloppy Potato and Meat Curry

  • Boil potatoes, peel skin and set aside.
  • Pressure cook beef with finely sliced onion, turmeric powder and chopped tomatoes. Set aside and reserve stock.
  • In a separate pan, fry sliced onion with curry leaves.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, some of the stock. Fry well.
  • Then add chilli powder and coriander powder. Fry till the oil separates.
  • Add the meats, stock and potatoes. Stir.
  • Now add the grated coconut and bring to a boil.
  • When the gravy thickens, take off heat.
  • Serve hot with rice or rotis.
