  • Small Braid Rolls: 5 cups - all - purpose flour
  • 1 - Egg
  • 1/4 cup - Sugar
  • 1.5 tsp - Salt
  • 2 tbsp - Dry yeast
  • 2/3 cup - Milk powder
  • 2 cups - Warm water
  • 1/3 cup - Butter
  • How to Make Small Braided Bread:

    1. Mix water and milk powder together until the milk powder dissolves.
    2. Add yeast to the mixture, then add the sugar, salt, butter, egg and the flour, mix everything and knead for a while, it will be sticky.
    3. Now add the 2 more cups of flour and knead for another few minutes to get a stiff dough. Finally add a cup of flour and knead again - the dough will be soft and not too sticky.
    4. Transfer this dough to a greased bowl and keep in warm place for 2 hours until it swells.
    5. Sprinkle the counter with a flour and put the dough on the flour.
    6. Flatten the dough to a disc shape, cut small rectangles from the rolled disc.
    7. Make three slits to the small rectangular disc without disturbing the top of the disc.
    8. Then bake in a moderately hot oven until done.
