Ingredients

  • Small Potatoes - 1/2 kg
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Onions - 2 (chopped finely)
  • Elaichi - 2
  • salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • To grind:
  • Cinnamon - a small bark
  • Cloves - 2
  • Garlic - 5 flakes
  • Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
  • Big Onion - 1
  • How to Make Small Potato Curry:

    1. Boil potatoes. Peel skin and keep aside.
    2. Chop two onions very finely.
    3. Grind together garlic, coriander leaves, one onion, cloves and cinnamon.
    4. Heat ghee in a pan and add elaichi.
    5. When the raw smell goes add chopped onions. Fry till ghee separates from it.
    6. Now add the ground paste and fry till the ghee separates from it.
    7. Add the cup of curd, salt, sugar and turmeric powder to this.
    8. When the water dries, add potatoes. Fry till dry.
    9. Decorate with coriander leaves and serve with chapattis.
