  • 1 kg - sole fish
  • 2 tbsp - onion paste
  • 1 tbsp - garlic and ginger paste
  • Whole garam masalas
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
  • 5 tbsp - mustard oil
  • Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch

How to Make Sol Macher Rossa

  • Marinate the fish with turmeric and salt after its cleaned and dried properly.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in kadai and fry the fish pieces very lightly and keep it aside.
  • Add 2 more tbsp oil in kadai and fry the masalas on low flame, add 1 tsp salt and turmeric powder.
  • Pour 1 cup of hot water. As soon as it starts boiling, put the fish in it.
  • Simmer it in low flame.
  • Add garam masala powder.
  • Serve the fish curry garnished with coriander leaves.
