  • 1/2 cup - Fine semolina
  • 2 tbsp - Rice flour
  • 1 tbsp - Maida
  • 1 tsp - Finely chopped Green chillies
  • 2 tsp - Chopped Coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp - Cooking oil
  • salt to taste
  • Water, as required
  • How to Make Sooji Paniyaram:

    1. Mix all three core ingredients - semolina, rice flour and maida in a big bowl.
    2. Add rest of the ingredients and make a thick batter by adding water gradually.
    3. Heat paniyaram pan and drizzle some oil in each case.
    4. Put a tablespoonful of batter in each case.
    5. Cover it with a lid and cook it for nearly 7-8 minutes.
    6. Use a wooden stick to turn them over.
    7. Cook covered again for 4-5 minutes.
    8. Serve hot with tomato-onion chutney.
