Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Chicken
  • 3 tbsps - plain flour
  • 1 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 1 tsp - soy sauce
  • 1 - beaten Egg
  • 1 tbsp- Tomato sauce,
  • 1/2 tbsp - chilli sauce,
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder,
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper and salt to taste
  • How to Make South Indian Chilli Chicken:

    1. Mix together all the ingredients and marinate chicken pieces in it for an hour.
    2. Then shallow fry the chicken till golden brown.
    3. Fry, 2 onions, 6 cloves of garlic, 1 inch piece of ginger and 6 green chillies.
    4. Chop one large green capsicum and add to the pan.
    5. Add 1/2 tbsp soy sauce and 2 tsps of orange food colour.
    6. Toss in the fried chicken and stir well.
    7. Cook for 2 mins on slow fire and then serve hot.
