  • mangoes (medium sized) - 4 to 5
  • Red chilli powder - 4 tbsps
  • Mustard powder - 3 tbsps
  • Salt to taste
  • Methi seeds - 2 tsps
  • Oil - 1/2 cup

How to Make South Indian Mango Pickle (Avakaee)

  • Cut the mangoes into medium pieces.
  • Mix all the ingredients along with the mangoes in a dry bowl.
  • Put the pickle in a bottle.
  • After a day, the pickle will give out water.
  • Stir the pickle well. It's ready to serve.
