  • mangoes (medium sized) - 4 to 5
  • Red Chilli powder - 4 tbsps
  • Mustard powder - 3 tbsps
  • Salt to taste
  • Methi seeds - 2 tsps
  • Oil - 1/2 cup
  • How to Make South Indian Mango Pickle (Avakaee):

    1. Cut the mangoes into medium pieces.
    2. Mix all the ingredients along with the mangoes in a dry bowl.
    3. Put the pickle in a bottle.
    4. After a day, the pickle will give out water.
    5. Stir the pickle well. It's ready to serve.
