Ingredients

  • 200 gm - soya noodles
  • 100 ml - cooking oil
  • 200 gm - vegetables, shredded, cabbage, carrot, capsicum, red/yellow pepper, onion, black mushroom
  • 1 tsp - garlic, chopped
  • 1 pinch - monosodium glutamate
  • 1 tsp - soya sauce
  • 1 tsp - sambar powder
  • 1/2 tsp - vinegar
  • 1 tsp - red chilli paste
  • 2 tbsp - corn flour (mixed with 1/2 cup water)
  • salt.

How to Make South Sea Noodles

  • Boil the noodles with salt and 1 tsp oil in water for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Drain the excess water and place the noodles on a flat plate.
  • Toss the noodles with a little oil.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
  • Add chopped garlic and stir for a minute.
  • Then add the shredded vegetables, monosodium glutamate, soya sauce, sambar powder, vinegar and chilli paste.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes. Add the cornflour paste and mix into the vegetables.
  • Now take the noodles in a huge bowl and toss them with the vegetable preparation. Serve.
