Ingredients

  • 400 g - spaghetti
  • 1 cup - boiled Green peas
  • 1 cup - ground cheese
  • 1 kg - chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsps - ginger, finely minced
  • 2 large capsicum, chopped
  • 4 large onions, finely chopped
  • 6 Cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp - each chilli powder, salt and 1 tsp. Sugar
  • How to Make Spaghetti Creole:

    1. Fry the ginger, capsicum, onion and garlic.
    2. Cover and cook till onions are transparent.
    3. Add the chopped tomatoes, chilli powder, salt and sugar.
    4. Cook till tomatoes are pulpy and sauce is thick. Sieve.
    5. Boil spaghetti in salted water till just tender.
    6. Drain and add spaghetti to tomato sauce.
    7. Add the boiled green peas.
    8. Fold in the ground cheese. Serve hot.
