Ingredients

  • 250 g - spaghetti
  • 1 cup - spinach
  • 4 - garlic pods
  • 3 tbsp - parmesan, grated
  • 1/2 - lemon
  • 2 tbsp - pine nuts (optional)
  • 4 tbsp - olive oil
  • Salt as needed
  • 2 tsp - chilli flakes

How to Make Spaghetti with Spinach

  • Boil enough water with salt and cook spaghetti in it as per package instructions.
  • Once done, drain it and mix a tbsp of oil to it. Keep aside.
  • Wash spinach leaves and keep it immersed for a minute. Again, wash it in cold water.
  • Chop it roughly and peel and chop garlic finely.
  • Heat a pan with 3 tbsp oil in medium heat. Add garlic and cook it for 2-3 minutes in low flame.
  • When it turns golden, add spinach and mix well.
  • Switch of the flame and squeeze the lemon. Add pine nuts if desired.
  • Mix well with the cooked pasta in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add cheese, little salt, chilli flakes and mix well.
