Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Poha (flaked rice)
  • 1 - chopped Onion
  • 1 tsp - chopped Green chillies
  • 1 pinch - Hing
  • 1/2 tsp - Haldi
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 2 - 3 tsps - Peanuts
  • Chopped coriander and grated Coconut to garnish
  • Oil for seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar a pinch
  • 1 tsp - Lime juice
  • How to Make Special Kanda Poha:

    1. Wash poha and drain.
    2. Add a pinch of sugar and salt to taste, and keep aside.
    3. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, hing, green chillies, haldi, and onion and saute for 5 mins.
    4. Add peanuts and poha and mix well.
    5. Cover and cook for a minute.
    6. Garnish with coriander, coconut and a dash of lemon juice.
