Ingredients

  • 1 cup - yellow split moong dal
  • 1 cup - raw Rice
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1 - Onion
  • 25 gm - Ginger
  • 50 gm - grated Coconut
  • Finely chopped coriander - to garnish
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
  • How to Make Special Moong Dal Dosa:

    1. Soak rice and dal separately for 6 hrs.
    2. Grind the dal and rice separately to a medium thick consistency.
    3. Now, grind the ginger, chillies, onion and coconut to a fine consistency and mix it well with the batter.
    4. Finally add salt and chopped coriander leaves.
    5. Use either a non-stick or a conventional tava to prepare the dosa.
