  • Rice - 4 tbsp
  • Sugar - 15 tbsp
  • Milk - 3 to 4 cups
  • A few pieces of cashew nuts, Cardamom and Raisins
  • Ghee - 4 tbsp
  • How to Make Special Paal Payasam:

    1. Give rice a short spin in the mixer.
    2. Roast it in 1 tsp of ghee till it is hot.
    3. Roast cashewnuts, cardamom and raisins in the ghee and keep aside.
    4. In a cooker, mix milk, powdered rice and. Give it 4 to 5 whistles.
    5. Cool and open. Add sugar and simmer for 30 minutes.
    6. Garnish with roasted cashewnuts, raisins and cardamom and serve.
