How to Make Special Paneer Butter Masala

  • Grind onion, ginger and garlic.
  • Grind tomatoes to a puree.
  • Fry the onion-ginger-garlic paste till light brown.
  • Add red chilli powder. Sautee for 30 seconds.
  • Add milk gradually. Cook for 3 mins.
  • Add cashews and cook for 3 mins.
  • Add tomatoes. Cook for 15 mins on low flame till oil separates.
  • Add cumin, garam masala, salt, and sugar.
  • Add 1/2 cup water. Cook for another 10-15 mins till oil separates and the gravy thickens.
  • Add kasuri methi.
  • Add paneer and simmer for 2 mins. Set aside.
  • Heat butter in a pan and add bell pepper, onions.
  • Saute for 3 mins.
  • Add vegetables to the gravy.
  • Serve hot with roti or parathas.
