Ingredients

  • 250g - Paneer cut into cubes
  • 2 - Onions
  • 1 - small piece of Ginger
  • 6 - pods of Garlic
  • 4 - Tomatoes
  • 5 tbsp - oil
  • 1tbsp - chopped cashews
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • 2 tbsp - kasoori Methi
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1tbsp - Red Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp - Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tbsp - Sugar
  • 1 - green bell pepper
  • 1 - Onion
  • 1/2 cube - salted Butter
  • How to Make Special Paneer Butter Masala:

    1. Grind onion, ginger and garlic.
    2. Grind tomatoes to a puree.
    3. Fry the onion-ginger-garlic paste till light brown.
    4. Add red chilli powder. Sautee for 30 seconds.
    5. Add milk gradually. Cook for 3 mins.
    6. Add cashews and cook for 3 mins.
    7. Add tomatoes. Cook for 15 mins on low flame till oil separates.
    8. Add cumin, garam masala, salt, and sugar.
    9. Add 1/2 cup water. Cook for another 10-15 mins till oil separates and the gravy thickens.
    10. Add kasuri methi.
    11. Add paneer and simmer for 2 mins. Set aside.
    12. Heat butter in a pan and add bell pepper, onions.
    13. Saute for 3 mins.
    14. Add vegetables to the gravy.
    15. Serve hot with roti or parathas.
