Til Ladoo is a delicious festive sweet made from til (sesame seeds) and jaggery. Til ke ladoos are popularly consumed in Maharastra during Ganesh Chathurti.


  • 1 cup-til
  • 1/2 cup- Peanuts
  • 1.5 -2 cups-jaggery
  • 4 tsps- Ghee
  • How to Make Special Til Ladoos:

    1. Dry roast the til till it becomes slightly brown.
    2. Keep aside.
    3. Dry roast the peanuts till it becomes brown and keep aside.
    4. Powder both to a coarse mixture.
    5. Heat the kadai for 5 mins.
    6. In the hot kadai, add jaggery and mix well till it melts.
    7. Make sure that the jaggery has been melted well (but not into a syrup).
    8. Add hot ghee and the powder and mix well.
    9. Make laddoos immediately.
