Ingredients

  • 4 - Large tomatoes, chopped
  • 4- Green chillies, chopped
  • 2 - Large onions, sliced finely
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • 1- Lime, juice
  • 2 tbsp - Oil.

How to Make Special Tomato Sambal

  • Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onions until pink.
  • Then add the chopped tomatoes, chillies, salt, sugar, pepper and lime juice.
  • Simmer on low heat until the tomatoes are well cooked and the mixture is thick.
  • Serve with rice, chapattis, dosas or idlis.
