Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • salt to taste

How to Make Special Tomato Thokku

  • Grind the tomatoes to a nice paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard.
  • When it splutters, add the tomato paste.
  • Add salt and chilli powder.
  • Keep cooking till the consistency is similar that of a pickle.
