Ingredients

  • 200 g - potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup - shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup - French beans
  • 1/2 cup - finely chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup - boiled peas
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - green chillies, minced
  • 1 tbsp - chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp - chopped mint leaves
  • 2 to 3 cloves - garlic, crushed
  • 1.5 inch piece - ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin power
  • 3 tbsp - paneer, cubed
  • Gram flour for dusting
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Special Vegetable Kebabs

  • In 3 tbsps oil, fry onion till transparent.
  • Add chillies, coriander, mint, garlic and ginger. Fry for a minute.
  • Add powdered spices and salt.
  • Add cabbage, beans and carrots.
  • Cover and cook on medium heat till vegetables are tender.
  • Remove from fire and mix in peas and paneer.
  • Add mashed potatoes and mix well to make a thick dough-like mixture.
  • Shape the dough into small round flat kebabs.
  • Roll in gram flour.
  • Heat oil for shallow frying in tawa or frying pan.
  • Fry kebabs in hot oil till brown on both sides.
  • Drain and serve hot with chutney or sauce.
