Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Basmati Rice
  • 1 cup - Finely cut vegetables (beans, cauliflower, onion, carrot)
  • 1/2 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 4 - Cloves
  • 2 - Cinnamon
  • 1 - Bay Leaf
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • Roasted cashews- 6-7
  • Oil to fry.
  • How to Make Special Vegetable Pulao:

    1. Soak the basmati rice in water for 10 mins.
    2. Heat ghee in a pan and saute the rice for 5 mins.
    3. Keep aside.
    4. Now heat 1 tbsp of oil and saute the cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and onion until pink.
    5. Add all the finely cut vegetables and saute for another 5 mins.
    6. Now add the basmati rice and 3-4 cups of water and let it cook.
    7. Garnish with roasted cashews and finely chopped coriander leaves.
    8. Serve hot with raitha.
