  • 1 cup - fine vermicelli
  • 3 cups - vitamin D Milk or thick Milk
  • 1 can - sweetened condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar (or according to taste)
  • 4 tbsps - Butter
  • A few Saffron threads
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • Cashews, Raisins - for seasoning
  • Blanched Almond pieces - for garnishing

How to Make Special Vermicelli Kheer

  • Take a heavy-bottom pan and boil milk.
  • When it comes to boiling point, add sugar, saffron threads, cardamom powder and condensed milk.
  • Keep it on medium flame and keep stirring at times to make sure that it doesn't get burnt.
  • In another pan, heat butter. Add cashews, vermicelli and raisins and roast it.
  • Add this roasted mixture to the milk mixture and keep stirring it for 10-15 mins.
  • Remove from stove and garnish it with blanched almond pieces.
  • Refrigerate it for at least 1/2-1 hour and then it can be served as dessert.
