Ingredients

  • 2 - raw bananas
  • 1 - yam
  • 1 cup - grated coconut
  • 1 tsp - black pepper
  • 2 tsp - coconut oil

How to Make Special Yeriseri

  • Chop raw bananas and yam into 1 inch rectangular pieces.
  • Fry them in a tsp of coconut oil.
  • Grind black pepper and half the coconut with water. Add to the vegetables.
  • Add salt. Let it simmer for 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Switch off the stove.
  • Temper with mustard seeds and curry leaves in a little coconut oil.
  • Fry the remaining coconut in coconut oil and add to the dish.
  • Have it with hot rice.
