Ingredients

  • Onion - 2
  • Tomato - 3
  • Green chillies - 3
  • Coriander leaves - a few sprigs
  • Garlic - 3 Cloves
  • Ginger- 1-inch piece
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cinnamon stick - 1 small
  • Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Fish - 1/2 kg
  • How to Make Spiced Fish curry:

    1. Make a paste of coconut, green chillies, garlic, ginger, and a few coriander leaves.
    2. Fry cloves and cinnamon stick in oil.
    3. Add sliced onions, tomatoes, and green chilli paste, and saute for 5 minutes.
    4. Now add the paste and saute for 5 minutes, and add chilli powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder; fry for 3 minutes.
    5. Add 2 cups of water and when the water boils, add the fish and cook for 10 minutes. Finally, garnish with coriander leaves.
