  • Palak leaves - 2 bunches
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece
  • Tomato - 1 medium
  • Onion - 1 large
  • Garlic - 1/2 (chopped)
  • Kasoori Methi - 2 tbsp
  • Paneer - 250 g
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh Cream - 2 tsp (optional)
  • How to Make Spiced Palak Paneer:

    1. Wash palak in water and chop.
    2. Add ginger and green chillies and cook on low flame till all the moisture evaporates. Cool and grind it into a fine paste and keep aside.
    3. Grind tomato and onion together.
    4. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped garlic and onion-tomato paste, fry till the raw smell is gone.
    5. Add the palak and stir. Add kasoori methi and salt to taste. Cook for a while.
    6. Cut paneer into diamond-shaped pieces and fry in oil.
    7. Add paneer to the gravy before serving.
