Ingredients

  • 2 - big tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 - medium size onion, chopped
  • To taste - salt
  • A pinch - Sugar

How to Make Spiced Tomato Chutney

  • Heat oil in a pan. Fry onion and garlic for a few minutes.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, cumin powder, salt, sugar, green chillies and fry, till the tomatoes are reduced to a pulp.
  • Grind in a blender.
  • Season with mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves.
