Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Chicken
  • 1/2 - Onion chopped
  • 1/2 - Tomato chopped
  • 3 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - Ginger(grated)
  • 4 - Garlic pods
  • 1/2 tsp - Nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - Cumin powder
  • 2 tsp - Olive oil
  • 1 tsp - Paprika powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 pinch -Turmeric powder.

How to Make Spicy Bake Chicken

  • Wash the chicken and cut it horizontally.
  • You can remove the skin of the chicken or keep the skin.
  • Now cut the onion and the tomato into small pieces.
  • Grind the onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, green chillies, nutmeg powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, paprika powder and olive oil into a coarse paste.
  • Marinate the chicken in this for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 300 degree F and bake the marinated chicken in a tray covered with aluminium foil in the middle rack of the oven for at least 2 hours.
  • Check after every 30 mins to see if the chicken is done.
  • In the last 20 mins remove the aluminium foil and bake uncovered until the skin is crisp.
  • Serve with bread or chapatti.
