Ingredients

  • 200 g - Paneer cubes
  • 1 cup - single Cream
  • 1 cup - finely chopped Onion
  • 1 cup - Tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup - Cashew nut paste
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp - Butter or Ghee
  • Kasuri Methi
  • 1 tbsp - (dried Fenugreek leaves)
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tbsp - salt, or as per taste
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • How to Make Spicy Cashew Paneer:

    1. Make a thick paste of onion, ginger and garlic in a blender.
    2. Heat the butter or ghee in a pan, add ginger and garlic paste and cashewnut paste.
    3. Fry till golden in colour, add tomato puree, kasuri methi, salt, red chilli powder.
    4. Mix well and cook for 5 mins while stirring.
    5. Add the cream and garam masala powder, mix well and let it cook for 2-3 mins.
    6. Add the paneer cubes and cook for a few minutes. Garnish with coriander.
    7. Serve hot with plain rice/pulao or naan bread.
