Ingredients

  • 2 cans chick peas in brine
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1.5 piece - Ginger
  • 4 Green chillies
  • 2 tsp - Amchoor
  • 1 tsp - Dhania powder
  • 1 tsp - Jeera powder
  • 1.5 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - chaat masala
  • 1.5 tsp - chilli powder
  • 4 tbsp - Ghee
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Spicy Chick Peas:

    1. Drain chickpeas and wash. Place in a deep pan.
    2. Chop tomatoes and green chillies. Cut ginger into thin strips.
    3. Mix chickpeas with all ingredients except ghee.
    4. Heat ghee till smoking in a frying pan, pour over the chickpeas.
    5. Mix thoroughly and keep on low heat for 10 mins, stirring occasionally.
    6. Take off heat, garnish with onion rings and lemon.
