Ingredients

  • 1 cup - murmure (puffed rice)
  • 1/2 - onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 - carrot, grated
  • 1/2 tbsp - roasted Peanuts
  • 1/2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - - black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup - coriander, chopped finely
  • 1/4 - cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tbsp - fine sev
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Salt as per taste
  • How to Make Spicy Churmuri:

    1. Mix onions, carrots, peanuts, sugar, salt, pepper powder, lemon juice, and chilli powder along with oil in a large mixing bowl.
    2. Add puffed rice to this mixture, just before serving. Otherwise the puffed rice would become soggy.
    3. Garnish with cucumber slices, sev, and coriander leaves, and serve immediately.
