Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Channa dal
  • 1 cup - grated Coconut
  • 1/4 cup -red chillies
  • 1 - tamarind, size of a Lime
  • salt
  • 1 tbsp - Sugar
  • 1 tbsp - mustard
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander seeds
  • 1 tbsp - white til
  • How to Make Spicy Chutney Podi:

    1. Fry all the ingredients separately.
    2. Powder the mustard, white til, coriander seeds. To this, add the sugar, salt, tamarind, dry coconut and channa dal, which has been fried to a golden colour.
    3. Spicy chutney powder goes very well with idlis, dosas and also with steamed white rice.
