  • 1 cup - Whole Wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup - Barley flour
  • 1/4 cup - all - purpose flour
  • 1 tsp - Pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp - Crushed Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp - Baking soda
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • 1/4 cup - Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup - Milk.
  • How to Make Spicy Cumin-Barley Cookies:

    1. Preheat the oven to 350F and line a baking sheet over a baking tray.
    2. Mix the flours, sugar, salt, crushed cumin seeds, pepper powder and baking soda in a bowl. Gradually add the oil and mix it into a crumbly mixture. Now slowly add the milk and knead into a dough.
    3. Sprinkle the all-purpose flour and roll out the dough into a large circle with a rolling pin.
    4. Now cut the large circle into smaller circles with a cookie cutter and arrange over the baking sheet. Repeat the process for the entire dough.
    5. Bake for 20-25 mins in the middle rack.
    6. Serve warm.
